They say that necessity is the mother of invention. Well, my family and I were born with sensitive skin.

We didn’t really understand what was causing the issues, flare-ups, peeling, and cracking…ouch. Initially, we just knew that it wouldn’t go away and no lotions were really doing the trick.

From there we realized that we were allergic to additives in the laundry detergent. We started by researching natural alternatives and then creating our own detergent for the family. Shortly after, we started to see a major reduction in our skin issues.

We were on to something.

We ventured further down the path until we realized that detergents weren’t the full picture. The same additives, dyes, scents, and poor health concoctions were in our everyday soaps and shampoos too.

Researching the best natural remedies on the market for our skin condition, and conditions shared by so many led us to understand cold process soap, the healing benefits of essential oils, and detoxifying wonders of exotic clays and charcoals… Soapure,LLC started taking shape.

Through trial and error, good batches and bad batches, we perfected the bases and scent combinations to not only provide a great looking bar of soap, but something that was luxurious, healthy, and free of all the reactive chemicals that caused our skin issues in the first place.

We believe that families like ours should have an education and understanding of alternative personal health products vs. the big names and marketed brands that pick profits over purity. Our motto is “Momma Made, Momma Grade 😊 “
